The model "O" grand piano is the largest of Steinway's “small grands.” This size piano is usually large enough to satisfy those who demand a full, rich sound, yet sized to fit in almost any home.  This model was later replaced by the model "L".   Adjustable vintage artist bench is included.
 
I'm selling this special AS-IS consignment for a dear customer.  It is a 1917 and appears to be all-original with the exception of the paint.  It has been painted at some point and no longer is standard Steinway deluxed satin but instead is a quite nice flat black.  There is one very small area of minor peeling located on the back side of the piano where it won't be seen in most cases.  
 
Normal signs of aging are shown such as tarnished bass strings (still sound great) and the plate (harp) paint has collected dirt as usual.  The soundboard still has crown with no apparent cracks and bridges are still in good condition.  The piano holds tune extremely well for its vintage demonstrating the pinblock to be still in serviceable condition.  In the showroom it has received basic regulation and tuning and is a pleasure to play for the price.  The keys are original ivory in very good but not perfect condition.  Lots of life left!  Casters, hinges and pedals are nickel finish which sets it apart from many other pianos.
